RDD Europe 2023
May 2-5, Antibes (Nice), France

RDD Europe returns in-person next month
With less than three weeks to go until the first post-pandemic RDD Europe, the world of respiratory and nasal drug delivery is gearing up for one of the most awaited dates on the industry’s calendar.
Established global names, start-ups and those active in the fields of research and academia will gather at the Palais deCongrèsin Antibes for live interactive workshops, exhibitor show cases, poster displays, key notes and networking from 2-5 May.
Programmed into “knowledge spaces”, RDD 2023 will explore the most relevant themes affecting nasal and lung drug delivery organised by scientific content, making information tailored to specific areas of interest easy to navigate throughout the course of the conference.
This year’s knowledge spaces are titled:
From Bench to Bedside – New Approaches To Treating Respiratory Diseases
Aqueous Agenda - Navigating Nasal
Building a Sustainable Future – Beyond the Propellant
Inspiring Dry Powder Inhalation – Shaping the Future
Advanced Inhalation - Data Driven Design
The live RDD Europe experience has returned coinciding with a time of meaningful change and inspiring innovation for all things respiratory. The industry has also recently lost its original pioneer, the incredible Charlie Thiel (1928 – 2023), inventor of what we know as modern inhalation therapy – the metered dose inhaler. Charlie’s passing combined with the now rapidly evolving shape of manufacturing, API development and appreciation of the design process in device realisation means we’re undoubtedly entering a new era for respiratory. RDD Europe 23 looks set to be the most engaging yet.
